Quality Control Inspector

About the role

Inspect homes for quality control purposes. Perform inspections on new construction and existing properties to ensure compliance with building codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect new and existing homes for structural integrity, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ensure all work meets local building codes and industry standards.
• Document findings and provide recommendations for necessary repairs or improvements.
• Communicate directly with homeowners and contractors regarding inspection results and next steps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in home inspection or related construction field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb stairs.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Experience with home inspection software.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
