We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process inspections of railcar repairs and maintenance activities
- Review work orders and inspect completed repairs to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are completed before work progresses
- Verify quality records, repair documentation, and regulatory paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Complete final car file reviews and ensure proper documentation is maintained
- Administer and maintain measuring and testing equipment
- Perform inspections across multiple operational departments including repair, inspection, cleaning, and coating operations
- Provide function-specific quality and compliance training to facility personnel
- Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective action activities for quality-related issues
- Escort customers and auditors during facility quality audits and inspections
