Quality Control Inspector - 2nd shift
About the role
CTL Aerospace is a full-service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company with over 75 years of experience in the aerospace industry. We specialize in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures and are located in northern Cincinnati, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Meets or exceeds all criteria for Quality Control Inspector I
- Performs dimensional/visual inspections on components and final assemblies using monitoring and measuring equipment (M&ME) according to production schedule
- Complies with internal quality system, business policies, and regulatory requirements
- Supports business goals and objectives
- Works with others in a teamwork atmosphere
- Maintains work-station cleanliness on a daily basis
- Reads and understands blueprints, travelers/routers, and work instructions
- Utilizes basic shop math skills to aid with tolerancing and obtaining measurements of product
- Has basic knowledge of GD&T tolerancing
- Understands utilizing an ERP system
- Generates inspection reports and FAI reports
- Issues nonconforming reports
- Multi-tasks and works with minimal supervision to support manufacturing needs
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience related to precision manufacturing and inspection (Aerospace Industry with emphasis on composite manufacturing a plus)
- Ability to interact with people on the floor, good social skills, and able to work with diverse work groups
- Good analytical, writing, and communication skills
- US Citizen
- Able to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs
Pay
CTL Aerospace will provide a pay rate commensurate with experience and an excellent benefits package.
