Quality Control Inspector 2 / Wireline

Responsibilities

• Perform in‑process, final product, and receiving inspections by established procedures and API standards (5CT, 7‑1, and premium connections).
• Conduct dimensional, visual, non‑destructive testing (NDT), and hardness testing on components.
• Verify conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments and gauges.
• Maintain calibration database and coordinate equipment calibration schedules.
• Review material test certificates and technical drawings for accuracy and current revisions.
• Document inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and manage NCR/CPAR processes.
• Identify quality issues and apply systematic problem‑solving methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, quality management systems, and industry regulations.
• Communicate inspection findings effectively to supervisors and stakeholders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Trade Certificate preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in oil & gas product inspection.
• Proficiency with standard measuring equipment and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• ASNT Level 2 certification in at least two NDE methods (LPT & MPT).
