Quality Control Inspector - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
• Inspect mechanical assemblies in accordance with technical documentation.
• Able to work unsupervised in performing inspections.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Interface with the Enterprise Resource Planning system.
• Communicate non-conforming material status.
• Interface with Quality Engineering in support of problem resolution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Excellent verbal and written communications – Fluent in English.
• High school diploma required.
• 2-4+ plus years’ experience in quality, manufacturing or related technical environment.
• Experience in inspecting electrical / mechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of IPC standards.
• IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications required.
• Ability to read and understand technical data documentation.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP S/4 Hana a plus.
• Computer literate.

Pay

The hourly pay range for this role is $23.73-$27.28 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 3%. Once training on 1st shift is complete, the employee will move to 2nd shift and become eligible for $1.50/hour shift differential pay.

Schedule

1st shift hours are 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. 2nd shift hours are 2:30 pm to midnight. 2nd shift candidates must be able to train on 1st shift up to 90 days before transitioning to 2nd shift.
