Quality Control Coordinator

About the role

Support the implementation of quality control activities for data center construction projects. Assist the Quality Control Manager in maintaining quality documentation, coordinating inspections, tracking deficiencies, and verifying that work is performed in accordance with project specifications, customer requirements, industry standards, and company expectations. Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, customers, and commissioning personnel to help deliver high-quality installations and successful project turnover.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing project-specific quality control plans, procedures, and inspection processes.
• Perform field inspections and walkdowns to verify workmanship, installation quality, and adherence to approved construction documents.
• Maintain and update inspection and test plans (ITPs), inspection checklists, and project quality records.
• Schedule and coordinate quality inspections with subcontractors, customers, owner's representatives, third-party inspectors, and commissioning teams.
• Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs to identify quality requirements.
• Log, track, and follow up on non-conformance reports (NCRs), punch list items, deficiencies, and corrective actions through closure.
• Communicate quality issues to field personnel and subcontractors and verify that corrective actions are completed.
• Document inspection results with field notes, photographs, and reports, and keep records organized in the document control system.
• Support testing, startup, commissioning, and turnover activities, including tracking test results and open items.
• Compile and verify as-built documentation, test reports, quality records, turnover packages, and closeout documentation for completeness
