About the Role

Evergreen Innovation Group, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a motivated Quality Control Coordinator to assist in visually inspecting all products going through the factory within their assigned areas. This position requires a professional, courteous, and non-biased manner, with a “Team” approach. The Quality Control Coordinator operates separately from production personnel and does not perform any production-related work.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Inspect product (including components and subcomponents) visually and with the use of aids including gauges, tape measures, and a variety of inspection tools.
  • Finalize and provide a pass or fail outcome on all work.
  • Create and upload documents into the company’s database pertaining to all quality processes using computers, iPads, or hard copies as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the quality lead inspector to identify quality issues and help ensure the highest quality product.
  • Collaborate professionally with area leads, production personnel, weld technicians (including robots), and others to report, address, and document quality issues and concerns.
  • Document and track all quality inspections using an electronic reporting app, paper documents, or other assigned methods.
  • Read and understand production/finish details and spool sheets.
  • Help create and implement proper quality checks utilizing tools.
  • Attend training that aids in job functions (roles and responsibilities).
  • Manage and maintain document creation, flow, distribution, and uploading (digital and hard copies).
  • Aid in training new and existing employees.
  • Meet quality inspection requirements to assist in production flow.
  • Document review, control, and improvement.
  • Create a positive, respectful, and productive team atmosphere.
  • Maintain and provide a clean and organized work environment.
  • Cross-train and assist Quality Control Inspectors in various areas, including the Finish Shop.
  • Actively promote a safe working environment throughout the factory.

Skills

  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Effective participation in a team environment.
  • Ability to use and read measuring tape, micrometers, calipers, multimeters, and other measuring devices.
  • Ability to operate electronic devices such as iPhones and iPads.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to acquire new skills and embrace emerging technologies.
  • A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of construction industry experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 30 and State license preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Dress appropriately for the work performed and meet all company safety requirements.
  • Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and inside conditions.
