Quality Control Assistant

Responsibilities

• Collect samples, prepare shipments, and inspect raw materials and finished goods.
• Test raw materials as applicable.
• Follow all procedures and SOPs and assist with updates.
• Maintain proper quality documentation.
• Support Change Management process, as necessary.
• Daily data entry into M3 and LIMS, as applicable.
• Report any nonconformities by following applicable SOPs.
• Send out supplier evaluation samples, as applicable.
• Follow good lab procedures, safety, etc.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (including Operations, R&D, and other quality groups).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with two years of related experience OR Associates Degree in a Science related field.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, inspection or other related experience preferred.
• Must have and maintain an insurable driving record.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Must have basic computer skills, including MS Office.
• Able to operate, troubleshoot, perform maintenance, instruct, and perform method validation on lab equipment.
• Able to interact well with others in a team environment.
• Must have basic math skills.
