Main Purpose
The main purpose of the QA Assistant role is to support and maintain the Dry Cleaning component in the Quality Assurance Department.
Major Responsibilities
- Assist with pick-ups from other departments; scan into defect location
- Assist with sorting incoming inventory pallets; scan into defect/dry clean location
- Maintain checking-out and checking-in of merchandise and assigned for dry cleaning
- Review for dry cleaning or laundry issues per item, tag and bag
- Review for mending/restoring in-house without sending to dry cleaners
- Absorb and inspect incoming dry cleaning for approval
- Absorb and assist in other areas in department/company as needed
Required Competencies
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to complete assigned tasks without constant supervision
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 minimum experience working in a dry cleaners, warehouse, or QA/QC environment
- Microsoft office or Excel preferred
- Technical fashion knowledge preferred
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly range is $18 - $18.50/hr.
