Quality Control Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control Assistant to support production operations within a manufacturing environment in Mount Pleasant. This position works closely with the floor manager to ensure parts, materials, and projects move efficiently throughout the facility while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Aid with quality control and production support throughout the facility
• Ensure parts and materials are properly tracked between departments and work areas
• Verify parts and completed work meet specifications and blueprint requirements
• Support shop floor organization and workflow efficiency
• Communicate with production staff and management regarding quality concerns
• Absorb light fabrication or finishing work during slower periods as needed
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or management experience required
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Experience using hand tools or grinders is a plus
