Quality & Commissioning Manager - Data Centers
About the role
The Quality & Commissioning Manager leads and grows the data center construction team across the Midwest. Key responsibilities include overseeing quality assurance and quality control programs for large-scale, hyperscale data center projects. This role influences planning, installation, inspection, and turnover processes to meet demanding client expectations, owner standards, and mission-critical performance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Leading the quality assurance and quality control program for large-scale, hyperscale data center projects
- Direct influence on how work is planned, installed, inspected, and turned over to meet demanding client expectations, owner standards, and mission-critical performance requirements
- Working at the center of production, safety, commissioning, and trade partner coordination
- Helping drive proactive issue resolution, reduce rework, and strengthen execution across the full project lifecycle
- Shaping project outcomes, building trusted client relationships, developing high-performing quality teams, and reinforcing Boldt's culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Controls, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality and Commissioning management in large-scale construction, with at least 3 years on mission-critical/hyperscale data center projects
- Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and specifications (ICC, NFPA, AISC, ASHRAE, IEEE, NEC, etc.)
- NFPA 70E Certification (Arch Flash training)
- OSHA 30
- Familiarity with owner standards and requirements for hyperscale clients (Meta, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc.)
- Proficiency with construction management software (Autodesk Forma, BIM 360, Bluebeam, CMiC)
- Willingness to travel and maintain regular onsite presence across the country

Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $167,353.33 - $192,086.67 annually. This range reflects anticipated base salary based on current market data. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experience, education, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule
