Quality Business Partner - Charlotte, NC.
About the role
This position is responsible for maintaining all current ISO certifications and expanding facility certification across the network. You will develop, implement, and maintain a corporate-wide Quality Management System (QMS), including oversight of regional quality performance. The role supports operational site management in ISO 9001 compliance through training, SOP creation, management reviews, internal and external audits, and sharing best practices. You will act as a resource for quality-related issues, maintain and improve the Maersk QMS, and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
As a change agent, you will lead continuous and sustainable improvement initiatives, analyze current processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions. You will conduct workshops and training on risk mitigation, CAPA, SOPs, and other QMS-related subjects, and collaborate with site leadership to improve customer satisfaction, process standardization, and efficiency. Additionally, you will build and maintain SharePoint sites for QMS, create automated workflows, and work with Building Directors on quality KPIs and success stories.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand facility ISO certifications across the network.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a corporate-wide QMS, including oversight of regional quality performance.
- Support operational site management in ISO 9001 compliance (training, SOP creation, management reviews, audits, and best practices).
- Serve as a resource for quality-related issues and improve the Maersk QMS.
- Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), analyze the impact and cost of poor quality, and foster a culture of prevention.
- Manage new and renewal of applicable regulatory certifications.
- Apply audit skills, prepare for and conduct audits, and perform conformity evaluations.
- Act as a change agent to drive continuous and sustainable improvement.
- Analyze current processes with site leadership to identify gaps and propose solutions for customer satisfaction, standardization, and efficiency.
- Lead workshops and training on risk mitigation, CAPA, SOPs, and other QMS topics.
- Build and maintain SharePoint sites for QMS and create automated workflows.
- Collaborate with Building Directors on quality KPIs, success stories, and opportunities.

Pay
Anticipated starting salary range: $110,000–$118,000 annually. The final starting salary will be determined based on market conditions, location, and applicable laws.
