About the role

The position seeks a senior individual contributor to establish a Fraud Quality Engineering capability. The role will involve defining and implementing testing standards, strategies, and best practices, driving proactive and continuous testing approaches, and contributing to a quality maturity roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Implements detailed test plans and testing methodologies to validate system functionality and compliance with technical specifications.
  • Conducts advanced audits and testing to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Works with engineering and development teams to recommend and provide measurable input into quality improvement initiatives.
  • Documents, communicates, and tracks test results and issues through to resolution, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Supports the delivery of scalable and reliable technology solutions by enforcing quality objectives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Reviews and enhances quality assurance processes, tools, and methodologies to improve testing effectiveness.
  • Provides technical guidance and mentorship to lower-level technical contributors in testing activities.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational quality standards.
  • Led continuous improvement initiatives within the quality assurance function.
  • Participates in cross-functional projects to integrate quality assurance best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience in quality assurance, software testing, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.
  • Proficiency with testing methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems.

Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level, CSTE, or equivalent.
  • Experience with automated testing tools, frameworks, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and shift-left testing practices.
  • Experience working in enterprise technology environments.
  • Advanced training or education in software quality assurance, testing methodologies, or related disciplines.
