The Quality Assurance Consultant oversees the operational quality aspects of their assigned area within the company. Responsibilities include developing and ensuring quality systems and procedures for their assigned area are being followed via auditing functions, providing support to interdepartmental operations, addressing any quality-related issues associated with their area, and working along with the Quality Technician to root cause/countermeasure internal and external defects.

Requirements include a strong understanding of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools, knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques, experience in conducting audits and implementing corrective actions, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to coordinate multiple competing tasks and demands, proficiency in relevant software and tools, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, promote a positive customer experience, uphold the Core Values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence and Teamwork by embracing The Carter Way, minimum four years' experience in quality engineering or related role, bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, preferred, certification in quality methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ), a plus, physical requirements include standing, walking, talking or hearing, frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 45 pounds, specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Pay
Starting Compensation Range: $85,000 - $125,000 annually
