Quality Assurance Technician - Second Shift

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains product and process inspections to meet quality standards.
• Verifies product compliance with stated requirements and performs measurements to ensure standards are met.
• Calculates and records pieces per pound per pallet or combo.
• Walks through production areas to monitor for GMP or other product handling violations and communicates findings to supervisor.
• Identifies and documents returned or held product for analysis.
• Notifies production management when specific action levels are met.
• Uses required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follows safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Good math skills.
• Able to use required tools for verifications (thermometer, scales, calculator, etc.).
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to make sound decisions.
• Able to enter data into scales and computer systems.

Physical Requirements

• Stand duration of shift – all scheduled hours.
• Use of both hands and ability to grasp.
• Good eye sight (with or without corrective lens).
• Able to perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to reach, bend, climb, push, pull, and stoop.
• Able to lift 3 to 75 lbs. in weight.

Environmental Conditions

• Warm or cold wet environment.
