Quality Assurance Technician – 3rd Shift ( 11:00 pm - 07:30 am )

About the role

Trillium Foods is growing, and we're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our 3rd Shift team in Cincinnati. Our facility manufactures liquid food and beverage products for well-known customers, with a strong focus on quality, food safety, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will work closely with our production team to ensure our products consistently meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform routine quality checks, product sampling, and inspections throughout the production process.
• Conduct daily testing of work-in-progress (WIP) and finished products.
• Perform line clearances, start-up inspections, and routine production line checks.
• Monitor and verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and other food safety requirements.
• Perform analytical testing according to established laboratory procedures.
• Conduct ATP, environmental, and microbiological swabbing as required.
• Monitor plant operations for compliance with GMP and food safety standards.
• Maintain accurate and complete quality records within the company's ERP system.
• Inspect incoming labels, sleeves, and other materials for production approval.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment, including pH meters, refractometers, thermometers, scales, and ATP meters.
• Collect, retain, prepare, and ship product samples to customers or external laboratories.
• Support internal Food Safety and HACCP audits, as well as customer and third-party audits.
• Assist with Quality Assurance and food safety training as needed.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory and production environment.
• Partner with Production and other departments to quickly identify and address quality concerns.
• Perform additional Quality Assurance responsibilities as needed.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of experience in food and/or beverage manufacturing; previous Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Pay

$21.00–$24.00 per hour

Monday–Friday | 11:00 PM–7:30 AM | Overtime opportunities available
