Quality Assurance Tech I (Entry Level) Onsite

Location: Salt Lake City, UT | Duration: 3 months | Hours: 40/week | Pay rate: $20–25/hr | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (hybrid: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote)

About the role

This position reports to an Engineer within the client Field Assurance Department, which is responsible for fielding and processing customer complaints about medical devices. Complaints may come from patients, healthcare providers (physicians, nurses, or other staff). The department investigates root causes of failures and processes reports to regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities

• Work in a laboratory environment processing returned medical devices.
• Follow proper usage of personal protective equipment and biohazard lab safety practices.
• Assist the complaints department with daily processing of electronic records related to complaints.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or two years of experience within a regulated industry.
• Preference for candidates with a background in data entry, processing, or analysis, with a high degree of accuracy.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, GC EAD, OPT, EAD, or CPT).
