Quality Assurance Tech - Entry Level

Location: El Paso, TX • 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday) • Contract on W2 (US Citizens or Green Card holders only)

About the role

Develops and implements programs to establish and maintain quality standards for existing medical-device products and services. Creates policies, procedures, and methods to inspect product, material, components, and operational quality, and drives continuous improvement.

Responsible for building and maintaining a compliant, cost-effective quality system that ensures products and services are reliable, safe, and effective.

Responsibilities

• Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine quality-assurance tasks following prescribed steps.
• Maintain required licenses, training, or certifications.
• Work within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scientific methods, adhering to quality guidelines.
• Perform a variety of routine—and occasionally non-routine—tasks within a group or department.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of basic operating procedures for a quality-assurance functional area.
• Entry-level experience; limited prior experience required.
• Basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area.
• Works under a high degree of supervision with minimal discretion or decision-making authority.

• Has some effect on quality, cost, and/or productivity.
• Carries out defined tasks and activities.
• Sphere of influence is limited to routine and non-routine work within a group or department.
