Entry Level Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

Develops and implements programs to establish and maintain quality standards of existing products and services, as well as developing programs to focus employees on quality improvement. Develops policies, procedures, and methods to check product, material, components and/or operational quality and improve same.

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and implementing a compliant and cost-effective quality system that assures products and services are reliable, safe and effective.

Requirements

• Demonstrates knowledge of basic operating procedures for a specific functional area
• Maintains appropriate licenses/training/certifications, as needed
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps
• Has basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area

Skills

Works within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.

Qualifications

Entry level with limited experience, develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area/process/method.
