Quality Assurance Supervisor
About the role
The Quality Assurance Supervisor at Cencora plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with World Courier policies and procedures at the local level. They oversee quality-related activities, provide guidance to associates, and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review and manage incident documentation.
- Participate in investigations on non-conformities or deviations from established quality standards.
- Support corrective and preventive action initiatives to address root causes.
- Create comprehensive reports and monitor deviations and subsequent actions.
- Report any deviations or potential problems to global QA and local leadership.
- Deal with customer complaints effectively.
- Develop and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS).
- Organize and support management review meetings.
- Oversee the Suppliers Evaluation Program.
- Audit suppliers and ensure they meet quality expectations.
- Communicate with relevant parties within the organization regarding audits and changes.
- Audit pest control and facility cleaning programs.
- Support technical quality support, including reviewing and verifying technical change controls, calibration, maintenance, and qualification/validation programs.
- Implement processes to monitor product/service quality throughout the lifecycle.
- Execute tasks using dedicated software tools such as Master Control and SharePoint.
- Train employees on quality standards, processes, and techniques.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Participate in client meetings and monitor feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- BS in Science, Quality Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Quality, Operations, or related field in the healthcare industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of coordination/supervisory experience in Quality, Operations, or related field in the healthcare industry.
Qualifications
- Basic PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance in a regulated environment.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with associates at all levels within the company and with external parties.
- Able to work independently and with a team when required.
Skills
