Quality Assurance Supervisor
About the role
At Lockheed Martin, a Quality Supervisor (QS) position supporting the overhaul and repair (O&R) is available in Shelton, CT on 2nd Shift. The QS oversees quality supervision of inspection hourly associates for component, detail, processing, and non-destructive inspection. Reporting to the Shelton O&R Quality Manager in the RMS Sikorsky line of business, the QS drives employee performance, adheres to General Rules of Conduct, manages time and attendance, reviews labor hour metrics, ensures adherence to ESH Cardinal Rules, 6S housekeeping standards, and FOD program standards. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with DCMA for contract statement of work compliance, maintaining a collaborative relationship with Local 1150, managing training scheduling, supporting business objectives, and implementing process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and drive employee performance using CBU tools
- Drive and hold employees accountable to General Rules of Conduct
- Comprehensively understand and manage priorities within respective areas, providing daily status updates
- Manage time and attendance records, balance overtime offerings
- Review and react to hourly work force labor hour metrics
- Ensure adherence to ESH Cardinal Rules, 6S housekeeping standards, and FOD program standards
- Identify training gaps and work with training personnel to close gaps
- Manage collaboration efforts with DCMA for contract statement of work compliance, non-conforming material, and corrective actions
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with the Local 1150
- Support the execution and achievement of applicable Lockheed Martin, RMS, and RMS Sikorsky business objectives
- Implement process improvement initiatives in areas supporting Quality Organization's key performance measurements, vision, and strategy
Requirements
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience with a proven track record in leading teams, developing talent, and driving results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience developing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated full spectrum leadership skills, including the ability to have hard conversations and address behaviors in a timely manner
- Knowledge of Sikorsky processes and procedures related to aircraft production (e.g., Non-conforming material management, etc.)
- Knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreement as applicable
- Talent development and team building skills
- Strong working knowledge of problem solving/root cause analysis and process management
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Prior supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable, with a proven track record of leading teams, developing talent, and driving results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience developing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers.
- Desired Skills: Strong communication skills, demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills, particularly in addressing behaviors in a timely manner, knowledge of Sikorsky processes and procedures, knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreement, talent development and team building skills, demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and drive change, strong working knowledge of problem solving/root cause analysis and process management.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This position requires a non-standard 40-hour work week as assigned by the leader.
