Quality Assurance Supervisor

About the role

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee and ensure compliance with product quality and food safety programs at the facilities. Responsibilities include assisting with Quality and Food Safety training for all facility personnel, coordinating and performing internal plant audits, and preparing for outside audits. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the world’s largest carrot and organic vegetable growers, packers, and shippers. Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with product quality and food safety programs.
• Assist with Quality and Food Safety training for facility personnel.
• Coordinate and perform internal plant audits.
• Prepare facilities for outside audits.
• Read and write procedures, update existing documents, and develop new Food Safety manuals.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all job aspects.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
• Occasional travel to various Grimmway facilities may be required.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Biology, Food Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent direct experience).
• Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety.
• Ability to read, write, and update procedures and manuals.
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to speak, read, and write in both languages.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements.
• Employment contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening.

Pay

$70,304 - $75,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, and market alignment.

Schedule

Night shift: 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM.
