Quality Assurance Specialist - Fresh Produce

Role Overview: Responsible for inspecting inbound and in-house fresh produce to ensure quality, prevent spoilage, and maintain accurate inventory levels. Key Responsibilities: Inspect produce for quality assurance and identify unsalable or short-dated items.Coordinate with receiving, operations, inventory control, customers, and vendors to resolve produce-related issues.Evaluate returns and facilitate removal of unsalable products.Perform daily counts, as well as breaking or repacking cases to manage stock effectively. Qualifications & Skills: Attention to detail and strong inspection skills.Effective communication and coordination abilities.Ability to handle inventory management tasks efficiently.Experience in fresh produce handling and quality assessment preferred.
