Quality Assurance Inspector - Produce

Role Overview: This position focuses on monitoring and ensuring the quality of perishable products in the warehouse. Responsibilities include inspecting produce, managing orders through data entry, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires exercising discretion and independent judgment related to produce quality control. Key Responsibilities Check daily produce quality to meet shipping standards.Communicate quality issues to buyers and assist in resolution.Ensure proper product rotation and report any issues.Monitor variance reports for spoilage and damage.Provide friendly customer service to internal and external clients.Inspect inbound, warehoused, and outbound products, documenting conditions.Engage in regular communication about product quality status.Analyze quality issues and propose solutions.Follow safety, sanitation, and operational policies. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or equivalent.1-3 years of relevant experience.Effective communication and report-writing skills.Strong listening, problem-solving, and numerical skills.Ability to read, write, speak English fluently.
