Quality Assurance Specialist - Fresh Produce

Role Overview: Responsible for inspecting inbound and in-house fresh produce to ensure quality, prevent spoilage, and maintain accurate inventory levels. Key Responsibilities Assess produce quality upon receipt and during storage.Coordinate with receiving, operations, inventory control, customers, and vendors to resolve produce-related issues.Evaluate returns and remove unsalable or short-dated products to minimize waste.Conduct daily counts and manage case breaking or repacking as needed. Qualifications & Skills Attention to detail in quality inspection.Strong coordination and communication skills.Ability to identify and handle produce issues effectively.Experience with inventory management and product handling.
