This position oversees compliance with the policies, procedures, and work instructions contained in the quality management system. The role includes exercising disposition of material placed in the “Material Review Bay” and serving as a resource to plant personnel for training on quality system documents and record-keeping duties to demonstrate compliance with system requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Document and data control oversight in the plant, including ownership and maintenance of measurement devices.
  • Management of corrective and preventive actions and their follow-ups.
  • Oversight of quality records held in the plant.
  • Process auditing for compliance with procedures.
  • Implementation of statistical control of equipment and processes.
  • Accurate information and timely processing of non-conforming material.
  • Act as a trainer on quality department documents (QAR does not own responsibility for all plant training).
  • Ensure proper records are maintained for gages, nonconforming material, inspection forms, stamp logs, etc.
  • Meet TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies.

Requirements

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality management system requirements.
  • Rudimentary computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with short task completion expectations.
  • Ability to work with a diverse workforce.
  • Effective interaction with plant operations supervisors and managers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Quality system training is preferred but not required.
    • Desire for additional formal training.
  • Preferred Requirements:
    • ASQ certification.
    • 3 years of Quality Assurance/Control experience.
    • Experience or training in ISO9001:2015 or AS9100 quality standards.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

Pay

$24.65/hour ($24.65–$28.75/hour).
