Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer
About the role
We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer to support capital projects at power generation facilities across Colorado. You will be the quality subject matter expert, partnering with Project Managers, plant personnel, and contractors to ensure construction and maintenance work meets quality standards and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop project quality plans for capital projects.
- Conduct field inspections, audits, and installation walkdowns to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor contractor work, identify quality issues, and support corrective actions.
- Support testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Document findings and provide quality reporting to project teams and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- 3–7 years of experience in power generation, utilities, industrial construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, telecommunications, infrastructure, or a similar environment.
- 3+ years of experience performing QA/QC inspections, testing verification, quality audits, and defect identification.
- Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and quality management practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $65.00/hour to $70.00/hour.
Schedule
This is a semi-hybrid, field-based position. It involves spending 3–4 days per week onsite at generating plants. Additionally, the job requires frequent travel throughout Colorado, and occasional out-of-state travel, which accounts for 5–10% of the time.
