Quality Assurance Operator – Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle (08A) - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities
- Perform liquid penetrant inspections, magnetic particle inspections, and other related nondestructive quality testing, as required.
- Perform in-process and final quality assurance checks of assemblies, tools, components, fabrications, and parts using a wide variety of standard and special measuring gages, devices, and techniques.
- Assist the quality team through defect resolution and perform rework on part non-conformances, as required.
- Perform workstation audits, as required.
- Maintain accurate records, in accordance with established standards and practices.
- Operate material-moving equipment such as forklifts and jib or gantry cranes, as trained.
- Contribute to team problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
- Take ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and productivity in your area of responsibility.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must hold relevant Level II NDT certification(s) or successfully complete Level II certification requirements, including classroom work and relevancy exams, within 6 months of the job.
- Minimum of 1 year in a quality role or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to read manual gages, including micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and wear required personal protective equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Successful completion of an assessment for the job class, background check, and drug screen.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this role.

Pay
$29.144 - $30.401 per hour. Eligible for a $1.00/hour shift premium on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
