Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures for transportation and logistics operations.
  • Monitor compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Cookordination and management of internal and external audits.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address non-conformances.
  • Review and approve quality-related documentation, such as standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Analyze data and implement improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Train employees on quality assurance procedures and standards.
  • Communicate with customers and regulatory agencies as necessary to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and manage quality metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Perform internal audits.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, logistics, engineering, or quality management is typically required.
    • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance in the transportation and logistics industry is usually required.
    • Experience managing audits and implementing corrective actions is preferred.

      • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, and methodologies.
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong organizational and project management skills.
      • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to transportation and logistics.

        Preferred Qualifications

        • Professional certification in quality assurance, such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
        • Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
        • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

          Pay

          Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy. The expected base pay range is $105,000.00 – $115,000.00.
