Quality Assurance Manager (1138161)

About the role

A growing food company located near Alamosa, CO is currently searching for a Quality Assurance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Oversee audits and inspections to identify and correct non-compliance issues.
• Develop and implement food safety programs and policies.
• Train employees on quality assurance procedures and food safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology or Chemistry.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in QA.
• Minimum of 4 years as a QA supervisor.
• Strong knowledge with FDA, Regulatory and Audit.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in food safety programs and policies, to include government regulations, FDA, GFSI, HACCP, GMP, and Allergen Program.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
