Shift/Work Schedule: 5:30am-2:00pm, Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $26.60/hr

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot complex product quality issues.
  • Coordinate and assign daily work to QA staff with minimal supervision, ensuring clarity on priorities and procedures.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and support employee performance; assist with training and development of Technical Services staff.
  • Provide strong leadership and ensure effective utilization of personnel across tasks including cleaning, rework, and facility improvement projects.
  • Document quality issues, solutions, and procedures accurately; complete all required reports and communicate critical information across shifts.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure chemical inventories are current; order supplies as needed.
  • Support the QA Supervisor with system evaluations, planning, and personnel-related initiatives, including recommending process improvements.
  • Inspect and test water treatment systems and monitor wastewater treatment processes.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and food safety standards.
  • Report unsafe conditions, practices, or personnel issues promptly to leadership.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and supervisors across all plant areas.
  • Perform duties of technicians and blenders when needed.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and support a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to safety, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis (the company will not sponsor employment visas).
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
