About the role
ICF is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to lead quality assurance activities supporting the development and delivery of enterprise software solutions for federal programs. This individual will provide technical and administrative leadership to quality assurance personnel, ensuring software products meet customer expectations, contractual requirements, and organizational quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and administrative leadership to quality assurance personnel supporting software development activities.
- Cookordinate quality assurance processes throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support software testing activities, defect management, and validation of corrective actions.
- Review software work products to ensure correctness, completeness, and adherence to approved design specifications.
- Verify compliance with organizational standards, government requirements, and contractual quality expectations.
- Review technical and program documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established documentation standards.
- Cookordinate with the Project Manager and Quality Assurance Manager to identify, resolve, and track quality-related issues.
- Monitor project progress and ensure software quality activities align with project schedules and milestones.
- Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to enhance software quality and development efficiency.
- Support major system implementations by reviewing quality readiness and providing recommendations for approval.
- Prepare milestone status reports, quality metrics, and executive briefings for program leadership and customers.
- Present system concepts, quality findings, and project updates to colleagues, technical teams, management, and end-user representatives.
- Promote continuous process improvement and adherence to quality management best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software development, or systems engineering.
- 3+ years of experience supervising or leading quality assurance teams supporting enterprise software development.
- US citizenship is required by government agency.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance.
- Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
