This position will be located at the Halliburton Cell division of Vallourec Tube-Alloy. The location of this will be in Lafayette, LA. Quality Assurance Inspector GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for setting up and performing dimensional inspections in intricate and close tolerance components using state of the art inspection equipment. Position requires high degree of maturity and interface with shop floor personnel, manufacturing supervision and management. Duties Must be able to perform all duties of a QA Inspector C, and Apprentice Inspector as well as perform the following duties, (as required by facility):Perform Dimensional Inspections on Products Made to Customer’s DrawingsPerform Dimensional Inspections on NipplesAssist all Departments with Locating, Customer, Licensor and Tube –Alloy SpecificationsContacts Licensor By Phone or by E-mail when Problems AriseVerify Work OrdersMaintains the Gauge Usage BookVerify Quote Drawings to the Licensor and Customer’s Blanking DimensionVerify Customer Drawings to Licensor Thread DrawingsMust possess the confidence and maturity to work with Third Party InspectorsApproval First and Last Article MoldsVerify Traces and Molds with Third Parity InspectorsAbility to perform Final InspectionsMakes Thread Certifications, Product Certifications and COCMakes Nipple CertificationsMakes Data PacketsPerform Phosphate Titration TestMaintain Controlled DocumentsPerform other duties as assigned.
