About the role

The main objective of a Quality Assurance Inspector at LayerZero Power Systems, LLC. is to ensure that products meet predefined standards and meet and/or exceed customer expectations. Duties may include measuring products compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests, and identifying defects. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
  • Ensures all product quality specifications are met by inspecting samples from each lot for defects.
  • Communicate with employees to ensure that job functions are carried out with respect to quality.
  • Train and observe employees while using measuring equipment, ensuring such equipment is in good condition, calibrated and is being used properly.
  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement verifications; rejecting unacceptable materials.
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement verifications; communicating rejection issues per company procedures.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement verifications.
  • Documents inspection results by completing inspection reports and rejection documents as required.
  • When products pass inspection, inspectors sign off on the work order/inspection documents.
  • Inspects assemblies for completeness and accuracy; performs final checks on completed products.
  • Perform calibrations to the measuring equipment as per annual calibration plan.
  • Perform LPA (Layered Process Audits) to the production floor as programmed.

Requirements

  • Ability to use hand-held tools and electronic devices to perform job duties, including micrometers, calipers, and Torque Wrenches.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Must have the ability to read assembly drawings and follow directions.

Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

$Competitive salary based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
