Quality Assurance Inspector - 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of plastic products throughout various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Performs receiving inspection of secondary components and raw material.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality checks.
  • Identify and report defects or non-conformities, collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and verify the calibration of inspection equipment and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during inspection processes.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in quality inspection, preferably within the plastic or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions and basic statistics to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Qualifications

  • Technical training or certification in quality assurance is a plus.
  • Must be willing to continue education to obtain CQI.

Skills
