Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of plastic products throughout various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Performs receiving inspection of secondary components and raw material.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality checks.
- Identify and report defects or non-conformities, collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and verify the calibration of inspection equipment and tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during inspection processes.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in quality inspection, preferably within the plastic or manufacturing industry.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions and basic statistics to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Qualifications
- Technical training or certification in quality assurance is a plus.
- Must be willing to continue education to obtain CQI.
Skills
