About the role

As a Quality Assurance Engineering - Sr Professional II, you'll ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products.

Responsibilities

  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for software products and application enhancements.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test data aligned to business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to identify, document, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
  • Apply quality assurance methodologies, standards, and best practices to improve test coverage, release quality, and production readiness.
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and execution of automated testing scripts for repeatable and efficient validation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer reviews, and continuous improvement activities to strengthen quality processes and delivery outcomes.
  • Analyze test results, communicate findings, and provide clear recommendations to support timely issue resolution and informed release decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance across test planning, test execution, defect management, and release validation.
  • 2+ years of experience in automation testing using automated test frameworks, scripting, or comparable quality engineering tools.
  • 2+ years of experience in performance testing, including test execution, issue analysis, and validation of application stability and responsiveness.
  • 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments with sprint-based delivery, backlog refinement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • 1+ years of Fiserv systems experience.
  • Experience using test management, defect tracking, and reporting tools to support traceability and quality outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and automated build pipelines.
  • Familiarity with security testing practices and secure software validation methods.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle models across enterprise or distributed application environments.
  • Certification in software testing methodologies or equivalent demonstrated experience.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in test management, defect tracking, and reporting tools.

Schedule

This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv values in-person collaboration and provides a supportive work environment.
