Quality Assurance Engineering - Sr Professional II

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable end-to-end and API/integration test automation frameworks integrated into our CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab)
• Build and maintain comprehensive regression test suites for Finxact user experience, artificial intelligence, and related services
• Design and execute performance and load testing strategies to validate system behavior under stress
• Develop automated testing scripts for user workflows across the platform
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot automation failures, debug inconsistent tests, and drive root cause analysis toward systemic improvements
• Maintain and evolve test data strategies and fixtures to support comprehensive test coverage
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of our testing processes
• Share testing best practices and patterns with the development team

Desired Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• 3+ years of professional software development experience with hands-on test automation and SDET responsibilities
• 2+ years of experience building end-to-end test automation for modern web applications (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) with demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
• 2+ years of experience with API/integration testing, RESTful services, and tools like Postman or similar
• Strong programming skills with the ability to write clean, maintainable test code
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern DevOps tooling
• Demonstrated experience with test frameworks and testing best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail with the ability to think critically about edge cases and failure modes
• Self-motivated team player comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in banking or financial services, with understanding of core banking workflows (payments, accounts, lending, compliance)
• Hands-on experience with Cypress framework
• Experience with JavaScript, React, and/or Go development
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, or similar)
• Familiarity with GitLab, Jira, and Confluence
• Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration
