Quality Assurance Engineering - Sr Professional I

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for software products and platform enhancements
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test data aligned to business and technical requirements
• Partner with software engineering and product teams to identify, document, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects
• Contribute to test automation efforts by creating and maintaining automated test scripts for repeatable quality validation
• Support Agile delivery processes by participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Apply quality assurance standards, testing methodologies, and release validation practices to improve product quality and reduce production risk
• Participate in peer reviews and recommend process improvements that increase test effectiveness, efficiency, and coverage

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including test planning, test execution, and defect management across the software development lifecycle
• 2+ years of experience in automation testing using test automation frameworks, scripting, or comparable automated validation tools
• 2+ years of experience in performance testing, including test execution, analysis, and issue identification for application performance and stability
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments using sprint-based delivery practices and cross-functional collaboration
• 1+ years of Fiserv systems experience
• Experience using defect tracking, test management, and reporting tools to document results and support release readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience

Skills

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and workflows
• Familiarity with security testing practices and secure software validation approaches
• Knowledge of modern software development lifecycle practices across cloud-based or distributed systems
• Certification in software testing methodologies or equivalent demonstrated experience
