It addresses challenges related to software quality assurance by ensuring products meet specified functional requirements and technical standards through thorough testing, thereby supporting successful software releases. About the Opportunity:The QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER is responsible for enhancing product quality by designing, implementing, and executing tests that identify defects and ensure software meets requirements. This role contributes to the organization by validating fixes, supporting successful product releases, and improving testing processes and tools. The position plays a critical role in maintaining software integrity and user satisfaction. Responsibilities:Review requirements, specifications, and design documents to provide feedbackDevelop testing plans and scenarios based on functional and technical requirementsEstimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within the development teamDesign, develop, and execute test cases and automation scriptsIdentify, document, and track bugsConduct regression, exploratory, and system testingMaintain accuracy of bug backlogsUtilize AI-enabled tools and analytics responsibly to improve testing efficiency and outcomesPerform other related duties as assigned Requirements:Minimum 6 years of professional experienceStrong diagnostic skills for effective software testing and quality measurementTechnical background to develop testing scenarios from requirements and specificationsExperience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and SQL queriesExperience in QA testing for ERP applications/systemsKnowledge of administrative software for higher education and automated testing tools is advantageousProficiency in at least one programming or scripting language is a plus Pay Range and Compensation Package:The pay range for this position is $72,000-$87,000 per year; base pay may vary based on knowledge, location, skills, and experienceEligible for an annual bonus and a full range of benefits Benefits & Perks:Medical insuranceLife insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time offPaid parental leavePaid holidaysShort term disabilityLong term disability401(k) retirement planEducational assistance Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
