What You'll Do
- Design and maintain regression test suites for TabaPay's Core APIs + Reporting/Recon/Settlement System + Full Stack Web App
- Build and maintain automated tests for API, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Execute regression testing for releases and production hotfixes; triage failures and drive defect lifecycle with engineering.
- Develop robust test data strategies, including synthetic and edge-case data generation.
- Validate transaction correctness across logs, database records, and output files.
- Help to integrate regression suites into pipelines and enforce release quality gates.
- Use AI tools to generate candidate test cases from requirements, API specs, and production incident trends.
- Use AI assistance to speed automation authoring and maintenance, including assertions, fixtures, and test refraction.
- Track and improve quality metrics, including coverage, flaky test rate, escaped defects, and time-to-detection.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience focused on backend/API and integration testing.
- Strong automation skills in one or more stacks (e.g., Python/pytest, Java/TestNG, JS/TypeScript + Playwright/Cypress).
- Experience testing REST APIs, asynchronous workflows, and file-based processing, automated web application testing.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and data validation.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000 for base pay; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
