About the role
A Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure software quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, etc.
- Execute test cases and generate comprehensive test reports.
- Identify and report bugs to developers for resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in QA or related roles.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, etc.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, etc.
Qualifications
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with database testing and SQL queries.
- Understanding of security testing principles and techniques.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and ability to find and fix complex bugs.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.

Pay
$80,000 - $100,000 annually.
