Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Develop and implement comprehensive, well-structured test strategies and test cases from business requirements. Design, create, and execute automated test scripts using various frameworks and tools. Perform a blend of manual and automated testing including exploratory, system, regression, and integration testing. Collaborate with development, data, and business teams to ensure thorough testing and process maintenance. Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate testing events, status, and results effectively. Develop and maintain automation for UI and API testing, integrating regression suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive, well-structured test strategies and test cases from business requirements.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using various frameworks and tools.
• Perform a blend of manual and automated testing including exploratory, system, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with development, data, and business teams to ensure thorough testing and process maintenance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate testing events, status, and results effectively.
• Develop and maintain automation for UI and API testing, integrating regression suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in test automation development with tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Strong deductive reasoning, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud-native environments (AWS preferred), microservices, and infrastructure-as-code pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL development for ad-hoc queries and strong understanding of CI/CD practices.
