Quality Assurance Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Unit QA / Infection Control RN for our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This role requires dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude, with a focus on working closely with residents and their families. We are a subsidiary of Crowne Health Care, an Alabama-based system of family-owned nursing facilities known for competitive wages and a high number of long-term committed employees.

Responsibilities

• Track all infections and antibiotic use, including antibiotic stewardship.
• Act as a liaison and representative for residents and staff regarding infections and medical needs.
• Prioritize the resident’s best interest at all times while adhering to federal and state regulations.
• Participate as a member of the Quality Assurance team.
• Demonstrate flexibility with shifts and/or hours as required.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Several years of nursing experience.
• Great attendance record.
• Highly organized, particularly for managing extensive paperwork.
• Self-starter with strong motivation.
• Experience with the elderly population is preferred but not required.
• Experience in Infection Control is preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
