Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Identify new test automation opportunities and implement solutions within the software development lifecycle.
• Maximize test coverage for the most critical business processes.
• Read requirements and execute manual testing plans based on those requirements.
• Learn multiple diverse enterprise web apps.
• Communicate with users to understand real life usage, build test cases and unit tests.
• Organize and drive cross product testing.
• Utilize tools to test APIs and backend SQL Servers.
• Monitor product and/or feature-level quality health metrics – communicate issues.
• Work closely with developers, admins, and product owner to ensure their features are delivered to meet business and quality requirements.
• Assist with product releases and post-release testing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with UI, API and Backend testing or IT-related degree.
• Experience in software development.
• Self-motivator, who can work independently, learn quickly, meet deadlines and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Effectively communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner and ability to coordinate cross-team efforts.

Qualifications

Our team uses the Microsoft Stack - Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, Web API and Azure DevOps – but a candidate able to demonstrate skill and experience in comparable technologies and willing to learn new technologies will be considered.
