About the Role

A Quality Assurance Analyst provides operational review and evaluation of programmatic documentation to determine validity and compliance in accordance with program policy and procedures. The work involves no supervisory duties and is performed under close supervision. Employees work a conventional workweek with occasional evening and weekend hours. Work is performed both in an office and at camera locations throughout Baltimore City, requiring minimal physical exertion but may involve extended periods of walking or standing outdoors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Two years of experience reviewing processes for accuracy and completeness, identifying errors and invalid documentation.
  • Valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver's license or equivalent, and eligibility to obtain a Baltimore City driver’s permit. Provisional driver’s licenses or learner permits are not acceptable.

Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements. Applicants must upload a copy of their valid driver’s license with their application.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Knowledge of modern office methods, computer equipment, filing systems, and business letter/report writing techniques.
  • Knowledge of statistical and record-keeping principles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public, vendors, contractors, and City staff, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to perform technical operational work with independent judgment, speed, and accuracy.
  • Ability to compile and prepare clear reports, correspondence, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to collect, compile, analyze, and interpret operational and technical data.
  • Ability to conduct operational studies and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions and instructions.

Pay

Salary Range: $53,409.00 - $69,407.00 annually. Hiring Salary Range: $53,409.00 – $85,406.00 annually.

Additional Information

  • Final candidates for positions of trust must complete a criminal background check and/or fingerprinting.
  • Selected candidates must complete a mandatory six-month probation period.
  • Education must be from an accredited institution; foreign credentials must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency.
  • Qualified candidates will be considered for vacancies for at least six months.
