Position Summary
Conducts quality checks in production cells and on incoming materials to ensure conformance with established standards.
Essential Functions
- Check product to blueprints with little or no supervision.
- Perform complete check to assembly and build blueprints to verify product.
- Able to understand purpose of product.
- Able to determine tolerances.
- Adhere to safety policies.
- Work knowledge of Quality software programs.
- Knowledge and understanding of non-conforming material procedures.
Qualification Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 to 3 months of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of Quality Inspection experience preferred
- Must Demonstrate effective organizational and verbal/written English communication skills
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
Physical Demands
- While performing the essential functions of this job, the associate will be required to walk, talk, or hear.
- Will be required to stand, sit, and reach with both hands and arms.
- The employee will occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Normal weight to be lifted or moved is between 0 and 15 pounds.
- While performing the essential functions of this job the associate could be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
