The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills What You Will Do Perform on-site aero-engine hardware part evaluations for military and commercial engine developmentWork within a team of Quality Engineers to perform data collection tasks on fielded aero-engine hardwareData collection tasks include: taking photographs of the part from multiple views using a handheld digital camera, capturing a 3D scan of the part using provided optical equipment, and measuring internal voids using a magnetoscop probe, and performing airflow bench test using pressurized air.Maintain part tracking tools using MS Office of identified hardwareDocument outliers of significant damage for further evaluation by process expertsProvide status updates on project objectives to Reporting Supervisor and / or Project Leader What You Will Bring 2-4 years of direct experience performing Quality, Manufacturing, or Design oriented support level workWork experience within Aerospace & Defense Industry (preferred)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate level competency in MS Office ToolsFamiliarity with warehouse part management (a plus) Pay Range: $23 - $27 hourly rate Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. Work Requirements This role is considered an on-site position located in East Hartford, CT, USA. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Wearing PPE where required. Travel requirements: Not Anticipated. 0-5% of travel may be requested depending on business need. Citizenship requirements: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
