About the Role

Performs advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative and quality coordination functions, requiring high-level discretion in managing time-sensitive information. This position provides critical support to the Nursing Quality and Excellence team by overseeing the progression of strategic projects, tracking action items, and ensuring rigorous data integrity. The role includes advanced data analytics and reporting for nursing excellence initiatives such as Magnet Designation, PTAP, and assisting nursing leaders with managing the development and coordination of content for the Patient Care Services newsletter, Nursing Biannual Report, DAISY Award, and other special projects. Demonstrates a proactive approach to project management, certification reporting, and cross-functional coordination to ensure continuous efficiency and success of the Department.

Responsibilities

  • Manage advanced administrative and quality coordination functions with high-level discretion.
  • Support the Nursing Quality and Excellence team by overseeing strategic projects and tracking action items.
  • Ensure data integrity and perform advanced data analytics and reporting for nursing excellence initiatives (e.g., Magnet Designation, PTAP).
  • Assist nursing leaders with the development and coordination of content for the Patient Care Services newsletter, Nursing Biannual Report, DAISY Award, and other special projects.
  • Demonstrate proactive project management and cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and various database and software programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact and communicate effectively with key stakeholders (e.g., Administrative Staff, Department Heads, Medical Staff) and the general public.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful.
  • Ability to manage data, meet time-sensitive deadlines, and work independently on complex projects.

Pay

The minimum rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. The rate of pay will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and skills. This rate does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation.

Schedule

Full-time position with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
