Quality and Commissioning Manager -

About the role
We are looking for a Commissioning Quality / Validation (CQV) Manager to work with our team alongside a key technology client. This role will develop CQV procedures and manage third-party efforts while collaborating closely with the QA/QC Director. The ideal candidate is resilient, a self-starter, and able to drive activities with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Full-time, Monday–Friday on-site in a fast-paced environment for a confidential tech-industry client.
- Interface with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
- Manage the commissioning process, attend domestic first-of-kind inspections, and conduct quality walks.
- Attend factory and site acceptance tests as appropriate.
- Ensure proper commissioning procedures and standards are developed and followed.
- Chair commissioning meetings with stakeholders.
- Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications.
- Ensure key information and learning from each project is input into internal databases and shared.
- Identify and act on process improvements, referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.
- Advise on quality, safety, health, and environment issues, ensuring awareness among clients and management.
- Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems.
- Advise at a strategic level at every project stage to achieve client objectives.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team members.
- Identify business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross-selling.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience leading and directing CQV professionals, with a strong scientific or engineering background.
- Experience with CRDR, IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience managing projects as an Owner’s Rep, General Contractor, or Commissioning Agent.
- College degree required; PMI certification preferred.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and workstream managers.
- Ability to be highly effective in a client-facing role.
