Responsibilities
- Lead system-wide quality process improvement projects, including data analysis and entry, and report generation
- Facilitate quality improvement initiatives aligned with system-wide quality goals
- Interpret and report quality data for Piedmont Medical Center Hospital executive staff, medical staff, and appropriate teams and committees
- Focus on transitional care efforts for acute care patients, coordinating with external facilities and facilitating disease management for high-risk patient populations
- Demonstrate the PMC Customer Service Standards and the WMH Transformation for Success eight elements to provide quality service to patients and customers
- Work with Department Directors or designees to ensure data collection and reporting meet expected criteria and are reported timely
- Stay informed of developments in area of expertise by attending seminars and workshops, reading pertinent literature, and so forth
- Comply with TJC and other regulatory agency requirements
- Perform related duties as required
Qualifications
- Required Education: Associates in Nursing required
- Experience: 3 or more years of experience in a healthcare environment
- Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: A valid Permanent Multi-State LPN or RN License from the state in which you reside is required. If you hold an LPN or RN license from another Compact state, you must apply for and obtain a Multi-State LPN or RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days
- Preferred Education: BSN preferred
- Preferred Experience: Experience in creation of spreadsheets and graphs and displaying statistical information on outcome measures preferred
- Preferred Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: CPHQ preferred
